A special open house was held at the Nobeyama Cosmic Radio Observatory.
For the past few years, the event has been held only online.
This year, we opened a booth at the real site for the first time in a long time.
We usually only sell our products at the University of Tokyo Co-op in Mitaka or at our webshop, but this year, we opened a booth at a real venue for the first time in a long while.
but at the special open house, we will be able to meet with customers and visitors directly.
Some products are only available at the special open house.

Heavy rain is forecast for the afternoon of the day of the special opening.
Honyaplan is scheduled to close this time around 2:00 p.m.
This year the location has changed and we will open in the staff parking lot near the 45-meter radio telescope.
The main merchandise items are tenugui (hand towels) and T-shirts.
There will also be a sale of fantastic kids' T-shirts.
T-shirts not available at the University of Tokyo Co-op in Mitaka were also sold.

TMT Paper Craft Prototype White Model from National Astronomical Observatory for distribution and workshop purposes.
Inquired about paper craft production for the purpose of distribution and workshop.
The company has been providing us with the production cost, and we have started production since 2013.
The actual design of the TMT telescope itself was still in progress and had not been completely decided, so there were no 2-D blueprints.
With the cooperation of the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan (TMT Promotion Office at that time), we were able to view 3D graphic data for demonstration purposes.
Production proceeded based on other materials related to the TMT from the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan.

The move was made in April.
The environment has birds of prey fighting in the air and mountains in all directions.
You can even catch a glimpse of the tall mountains in the sky in a little alley.
This allows us to replenish our YP (mountain power) frequently.
And yet there is a convenience store.
It's a 15 or 30 minute drive, or a day's walk, and you'll be in the mountains in no time!

The blue one is a split pin. It is possible to make split pins with paper alone, but

<h3>This is what happens when you make popups very fast.</h3>
I don't think it's a good idea to show the behind-the-scenes of a pop-up. 
I'm not a big fan of showing behind-the-scenes stuff, but I found some pretty bad stuff and laughed at it myself.
First of all, let me tell you about my PC's hard disks... 
I had 5 hard drives. 
It was like Kowloon Castle for a long time. 
I used to be able to remember where they were, but now I have to search for them. 
But now I have to search for them, and when I don't know the search word anymore 
I have to do a treasure hunt.
One of the first ones blew up about 25 years ago, and I was so disappointed that I couldn't remember where it was. 
I remember that I was so disappointed that my body turned translucent, and 
I still bring it with me every time I move, like a tomb.
There are quite a few rough drawings and data of the production process that are still there. 
(The theory is that I just didn't have the time, energy, or inclination to organize them.) 
Recently, I finally figured out, or rather decided, how to sort them.
So, I decided to sort them. 
I found a video of me making pop-ups at a very fast pace.

I felt that this photo conveys the atmosphere of the production process.

I was not sure whether it was faster to draw or to create, but I decided that drawing was faster. 
If the actual product does not turn out well, I have to make it over again. 
But if it doesn't turn out well, I have to make it over again.
By the way 
I have a good idea of the size of the paper to be used. 
I can usually get a good impression of the surface.

<h3>TMT's paper crafts are now open to the public.</h3>
I made a paper craft of TMT, but it is hard to cut the paper, so I made a pre-cut kit. (Incidentally, the data is available at <a href="https://www.nao.ac.jp/gallery/paper-craft/telescope.html">NAOJ website</a>.
The TMT as well as the Nobeyama 45m are newly designed for ease of construction. It would be interesting to compare them with the paper crafts that are available to the public. I would like to make Subaru and Alma, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. 
I've included an assembly guide, which you can download from our website, but it will take you about an hour to assemble the pre-cut kits.

It arrived wrapped in a thin wrapping paper with an illustration of a rose printed on it.

I got a Gundam plastic model wrapped in wrapping paper with an illustration of a rose printed on it.
At that time, too, I got a funny little giggle.
